TEXTURE effect
4 Parallel Reverse Looper + Reverb
sound→4 Reverse Looper →output
A parallel reverse looper type effect that can be used for various purposes such as processing the texture of the material and ambient texture, adding a shimmer effect.
Use it on field-recorded sound for interesting sounds, or add to ambient or drones to create unexpected textures. Streaming effects
Each parallel looper is a windowed 4-tap delay. Each is evenly arranged with a phase shift.
You can change the playback speed to create effects like reverse delays and intermediate granular effects.
parameter:
d/w : dry wet
speed_1~4: playback speed
time_1~4: delay loop length
Gain : each looper gain
reverb: reverb strength
Grain: each number of grain
There are 4 loopers in parallel. Each looper is a mini-granular with 1~12 grains.
It can also be regarded as granules of 4×4=16 grains.
Since the loop interval is long, it may be closer to consider it as a multi-tap delay.
Speed changes the playback speed of each looper.
time determines the playback range of each looper.
The looper records and plays back in streaming.
For example, if it is 1 second, it will play from 0 to 1 second ago.
If the speed is negative, it will play backwards. time determines how far the playback position will move. For example, if you set it to 5.00s, the playback position will move from 0 to 5s before. In the case of reverse playback, the playback position moves from 5.00s to 0s.
You can mix each looper with gain! You can adjust the number of loopers by setting gain to zero. When everything is 0.5, it's about the same volume as dry.
v.2.1 updated
added Grain parameter:You can now change the number of grains.
The looper stops processing when the volume is 0, improving the processing efficiency of the cpu.
Reverb stops processing when gain is 0.
v.2.4 updated
Added pan parameter, added phase reset button
Review of smoothing process when changing parameters
Adjust d/w, change number of grains from 1 to 12
Changed so that the window function does not apply when the number of grains is 1.
v.2.8 updated
Changed the method of gain adjustment for the number of grains
Added parameters that can change the shape of the window function
Graphical display of window function waveform
v.3.0 updated
I increased the number of digits of speed by one. Now you can make finer adjustments.
